The aim is to gain an overview of limitations and opportunities for using wood in interiors of refurbished residential homes, educational and care environments in Europe.

WP2 – Wooden Surfaces

Topics include sorption and energy efficiency of wood material, surface sensation and surface properties, opportunities for modifying wooden surfaces.

WP3 – Indoor Environment

The aim is to gain experience and data about emission-related impacts affecting human health, well-being and living comfort, with special regard to wood specific emissions. The work package includes toxicological and epidemiological evaluation.

WP4 – Human Perception

The aim is to identify possibilities of promoting human well-being in interior spaces.

WP5 – Wooden Spaces
